In keeping with the wishes of the Deacon and Elaina—please refrain from wearing black. Instead, don your favorite summer or golf attire. Feel free to incorporate Tighe’s favorite colors, teal and green! The afternoon will be filled with cherished memories, laughter, music, and games! We look forward to celebrating together and creating lasting memories in Tighe's honor.
Carpooling is encouraged as there is limited parking.

Tough Like Tighe is a pending 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2025 to honor the life, spirit, and legacy of Tighe—a son, a brother, a friend, a teammate, and a bright light to all who knew him. Tighe was known for the way he lifted those around himwith kindness, humor, strength, and unwavering generosity. When he lost his brave battle with glioblastoma in 2025, the community that loved him deeply came together to carry forward the good he brought into the world.
tough like tighe's mission
Partner with organizations like First Tee to make golf more accessible for kids without the resources or support on their own. We feel Tighe’s golf journey taught him the value of working relentlessly on a skill and finding enjoyment in the grind in addition to the benefits of playing a sport outside and developing relationships.
Provide financial support in partnership with Children’s Hospital so that families can feel as supported as we did going through the process of diagnosis, care, and treatment of childhood cancer.
